Zitow Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Zitow Affiliate Program. By applying to or participating in the Program, you ("Affiliate", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") with Zitow ("Zitow", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Account Approval
- Participation is open to individuals and registered business entities capable of forming legally binding contracts.
- All affiliate applications are subject to review and approval by Zitow. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or terminate any application or account at our sole discretion.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date contact, business, and payout information at all times.
2. Referral Tracking & Cookie Window
- Referrals are tracked using unique referral links containing your affiliate identifier.
- A 30-day referral cookie window applies. When a prospective customer visits Zitow through your referral link, the referral is credited to your account if they complete registration within 30 days.
- Attribution is based on the initial valid referral click. Zitow is not liable for untracked referrals resulting from customer cookie-blocking settings, browser privacy tools, ad blockers, or cleared cache.
3. Qualifying Purchases & Commission Structure
- Commission is earned on qualifying paid Zitow software subscriptions purchased by referred businesses and successfully approved.
- Commission is calculated as the active program percentage (e.g. 15%) of the net subscription revenue actually received by Zitow, excluding discounts, credits, promotions, and applicable taxes.
- Free tier plans, complimentary trials, and subscriptions with a payable amount of zero do not earn commissions.
- Annual Subscriptions: Full commission is earned and paid upfront on the referral’s entire qualifying first-year subscription payment.
- Monthly Subscriptions: Commission is earned on the initial qualifying payment and on each recurring monthly renewal throughout the referral's active recurring commission window (e.g. first 6 months).
4. 60-Day Customer Stickiness Period
- All earned commissions are subject to a mandatory 60-day Customer Stickiness period commencing on the date of each qualifying payment.
- During this 60-day window, commissions remain in "Pending" status to verify active subscriber retention and ensure that the referred account remains in good standing without cancellation, refund, or payment dispute.
- Commissions transition from "Pending" to "Approved" and become eligible for payout once the 60-day stickiness period successfully concludes.
5. Payouts & Minimum Threshold
- Approved commissions are disbursed in accordance with Zitow’s regular payout cycle via supported payout channels (such as PayPal or bank transfer).
- Payouts are subject to a minimum earnings threshold (e.g. $50, or as configured in your Affiliate Portal). Accumulated earnings below this threshold roll over to the next payout cycle.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining valid, active payment details and for reporting and paying all applicable local, state, and federal taxes on your earnings.
6. Prohibited Marketing Practices & Brand Protection
- No Self-Referrals: You may not earn commissions on your own subscriptions, or on accounts or businesses that you own, operate, manage, or are closely affiliated with.
- No Search Engine Brand Bidding (PPC): You may not bid on keywords or search terms that include "Zitow", "Zitow POS", "Zitow Apps", or any confusingly similar variations or misspellings in paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads).
- No Spam or Unsolicited Communications: All marketing must comply with applicable anti-spam laws (including CAN-SPAM and GDPR). Automated bulk emailing, social media spam, and unauthorized messaging are strictly forbidden.
- Accurate Representation: You must not make false, exaggerated, or misleading claims about Zitow software features, functionality, pricing, or earnings. All marketing copy must be professional and truthful.
- No Cookie Stuffing or Cloaking: Any attempt to inject tracking cookies without an intentional user click, use hidden iframes, or cloak destination links will result in immediate account termination.
7. Independent Contractor Status
- You and Zitow are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties.
- You have no authority to bind Zitow, make warranties on Zitow’s behalf, or enter into agreements in Zitow’s name.
8. Modifications & Termination
- Zitow reserves the right to modify commission rates, cookie duration, customer stickiness rules, payout minimums, or any aspect of these terms at any time. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
- Either party may terminate participation in the Affiliate Program at any time with written notice.
- Zitow reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any affiliate account found in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Any pending, unapproved, or fraudulently derived commissions will be forfeited.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your affiliate registration or application, or by continuing to share your referral link and participate in the Zitow Affiliate Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms set forth in this Agreement.
